Pacific CoastSavers
The Salish Sea sister program — extending the CoastSavers model to Washington's inland shorelines and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Pacific CoastSavers is the Salish Sea complement to Washington CoastSavers. Where CoastSavers focuses on the outer Pacific coast, Pacific CoastSavers organizes cleanups along the inland shorelines from the San Juan Islands through Whatcom County and down through the Hood Canal.
The two programs coordinate the International Coastal Cleanup each September — outer coast and inland shorelines in one weekend.
